Ukulhas is very small island it’s 800m. Only 1000 people live there. The first tourist arrived at Ukulhas in 2012. The island is clean and nice. You will find here 5 restaurants, few guesthouses, and 3-4 small shops. It’s very quiet „city” 🙂 They have one big school where at 12:45 all mothers are gathering to pick up kids. There are two mosques from where you can hear prayers five times per day.
At Ukulhas you can find one port and actually, this is „city center” where you can meet a lot of locals sitting and talking after work. When we were there in October 2016 there was work on strengthening the edge of the island.
You need 30 minutes to see the whole island 😉
