When you are going to the Maldives you have few options to spend your time: on the beach or on the trips. You can go for one day in resort trip, snorkeling, mana race, swimming with dolphins, to sandbank or to a desert island or for island hopping and more and more. We choose sandbank and night fishing, snorkeling, manta race and romantic dinner. After negotiations, we paid for all 300$. The Maldives are beautiful and breathtaking. When are you thinking about them you have in mind white sand and perfect blue sea, maybe some green palms.  But there is more 😉   I was surprised how many beautiful flowers you can find in the Maldives. They are so colorful!   I have my favorite one, it’s called plumeria and this is national flower 🙂   And what about animals? Mosquitos everywhere! The climate is humid, warm and ideal for mosquitoes. Sandbank… This is the most beautiful place I saw in my life. I was almost crying from happiness. We had a trip to sandbank for 40$ per person. We got out at 9 am. Guys from Starry Night have their regular sandbank near Ukulhas but it was already taken by some family so they took another one. It was 40 minutes by speedboat. Ukulhas is very small island it’s 800m. Only 1000 people live there. The first tourist arrived at Ukulhas in 2012. The island is clean and nice. You will find here 5 restaurants, few guesthouses, and 3-4 small shops. It’s very quiet „city” 🙂 They have one big school where at 12:45 all mothers are gathering to pick up kids. Male is the smallest capital in the world- 6 km2! 133 412 people live there which means 23 000 person/1km2! Streets are very cramped and crowded. Everywhere you will see motorbikes. They are quite dangerous when you are trying to cross the road.
