maldives- underwater world and night fishing

Kategorie maldives,sightseeing

When you are going to the Maldives you have few options to spend your time: on the beach or on the trips. You can go for one day in resort trip, snorkeling, mana race, swimming with dolphins, to sandbank or to a desert island or for island hopping and more and more. We choose sandbank and night fishing, snorkeling, manta race and romantic dinner. After negotiations, we paid for all 300$. We should pay something around 400$ 😉 We took all of this activities from our hotel offer.

Manta race

We took our masks and fins from Poland but they had it in the hotel for free. And manta race is like this- we are on the speedboat, one local guy who was helping in our hotel was from time to time jumping to the water and looking for mantas 😉 When he saw some we were jumping too. Then again to speed boat and to another place 😉 We had bad luck with this trip as in typical for mantas place there were only 2 mantas 😉 We were told that usually you can find there 20 mantas but they didn’t want to see us 😀  But we saw two of them and it was ok.

Night fishing

After sunset, we went to the edge of the coral reef where locals are fishing. We didn’t need to fish with rods but with fishing line rolled on the circle with hook and bait. It was very interesting. For locals who went with us, it was sooooo easy. They were catching one fish after another :O We caught only 8 😀 We were fishing for 2h. And this is a typical evening for locals 😉

Next day we had our romantic dinner with fish that we caught! 😀

Snorkeling

It was something around 2h trip. We were swimming at two coral reefs. It was very fun to see all these colorful fishes. We found Nemo! 🙂 We saw big turtle and ray. I’m scared of underwater world (that something will catch me and eat me 😀 ) but I decided to fight with my fear and this once snorkel a little with Kamil and helper from hotel 😉 and it was a good decision. You will see more of this world in our movie. Stay tuned 😉
